Atlantic Exchange: Floodlines Podcast Release

Floodlines is not about a natural disaster, but an unnatural one: the failure of government, media, and society, leading to one of the most misunderstood events in modern-day America. The Atlantic will soon release Floodlines—an eight-part podcast hosted and reported by staff writer Vann R. Newkirk II about the aftermath of the day the levees broke in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Check out the trailer here. Join Newkirk and Executive Producer Katherine Wells in conversation with The Atlantic’s Executive Editor Adrienne LaFrance about the lessons learned from Katrina.

Due to current concerns about coronavirus in the local community, The Atlantic will not convene our Atlantic Exchange: Floodlines Podcast Release on Tuesday, March 24, as previously scheduled, out of an abundance of caution for the health and wellbeing of our guests, staff, and speakers.
